Arxium's a new fund. What we bring isn't a long track record under one banner — it's a decade of brokering property finance, a fund run as a GP, a tech business that's already up and running, and money put in as an LP. Two of us, who've sat on both sides of a fund: the one running it, and the one writing the cheque.

01 — Cofounders

A mortgage broker who's also run a fund as its GP, and a software developer who's been an LP in other people's funds. One of us has managed the money; the other has been the one handing it over. Together, that's the firm.

Ray's spent ten years brokering property finance for NZ developers. He knows the sponsors here, knows which deals the banks say no to and why, and knows the whole path from a first phone call to a loan that actually settles. He's also run a fund as its GP — so he's been the manager, not just the broker bringing deals to one. He runs Green Oak Capital now, and the network behind our pipeline is one he's talking to every week.

Jay Abraham

Jay runs Brokerloop, a tech company building software for insurance brokers. He started out as a software developer, and went on to build systems for one of Australia's big banks and one of the region's largest accounting-software firms. He's also been on the other side as an investor — an LP in other people's funds — so he knows what it's like to hand over your money and hope the manager does what they said. He's the one here thinking about how we report, and how we earn your trust.

What we don't pretend

This is a new fund. We don't have a multi-decade institutional track record under a single banner, and we won't claim one. What we bring is the operating experience of the two of us — and the discipline to grow the fund only as fast as we can underwrite carefully.
